Controlled Environment

Greenhouse and Light Deprivation Planning

Blackout integrity, airflow, and crew scheduling decide how a greenhouse cycle finishes. Test the systems before the plants arrive.

Test the blackout empty

Run the system with the house empty and walk it at midday. Light leaks at seams, doors, and edges are easy to fix then and expensive to discover mid-flower.

Plan airflow with the finished canopy in mind

Airflow that is adequate at transplant may not be adequate at full canopy. Set spacing for the plant you expect at week eight.

Schedule the labour peaks

Transplant, training, and harvest concentrate work into short windows. Confirm crew availability for those weeks before committing to a cycle date.

Growing resources are educational only. They are not legal advice and they are not a substitute for your own agronomic judgement. Growers must follow local, state, federal, and licensing requirements that apply to their site. Licensed growers and distribution partners only.
