Where Hemp Ends Up: A Grower's Guide to Downstream Markets

Harvested hemp material being handled

Smokable flower, extraction, fiber, grain, and pet product raw material. What each buyer is really grading you on.

Know the grader before you plant

Every downstream market grades a different thing. Smokable flower buyers grade appearance, nose, and trim quality. Extractors grade cannabinoid mass and how clean the input is. Fiber and grain buyers barely look at the flower at all.

Growing a crop and then hunting for a buyer is the most expensive order of operations in this business. Reverse it.

Flower and extraction

Flower work is labor heavy and detail sensitive: careful harvest, slow dry, hand handling, tight storage. The premium is real and so is the cost of earning it.

Extraction biomass forgives cosmetic imperfection but punishes contamination and inconsistent cannabinoid content. Clean inputs and good records are the whole game.

Raw material for formulators

Companies formulating consumer and animal products buy on traceability, documentation, and consistency across lots. They are buying your paperwork as much as your plant material.

We supply genetics and traceable raw material to formulators rather than making finished product claims ourselves. Those claims belong to the party that holds the testing and the regulatory responsibility.
